PRE & POST SURGERY

In most musculoskeletal injuries the need for surgery is only used as a last resort or when absolutely necessary. You may have tried conservative measures such as Physiotherapy which has not resulted in your injury recovering to the expected goal.

We work closely with some of the top surgeons in London and the South East to plan the most effective treatment and rehabilitation programs for both before and after surgery.

PRE-OPERATIVE REHABILITATION

In most cases Orthopaedic Consultants and Spinal Neuro-surgeons ensure their patients have undergone a comprehensive Physiotherapy Assessment and Treatment program before any surgery is considered.

We are happy to see you before your planned surgery. In many cases improving your strength and mobility before surgery can speed up the recovery process. If you would like to know more about our Pre-Operative Rehabilitation Service please get in touch and speak to one of our Physiotherapists.

POST-OPERATIVE REHABILITATION

At Healthshare we are expert in rehabilitating our patients to return to peak mobility, strength and function after surgery. We have a fully equipped gym (link to bring up photo on this page) to help maximise your recovery. We will liaise directly with your consultant to plan individual treatment programs and aim to improve pre-surgery levels of strength and fitness.

We aim to make your transition from surgery to full recovery as seamless as possible.
