Alexa Phillips
Alexa has worked as a physiotherapist for over 10 years both in the public and private sector. Here she gained valuable experience and knowledge to assist patients' recovery and alleviate their pain. With postgraduate training in acupuncture, Pilates and manual therapy, Alexa uses a range of skills to treat back and neck pain, sports injuries and rehabilitation of knees and shoulders. She has a specialist interest in the analysis and correction of human movement and bio mechanical problems.

Alexa has a specialist interest in Women's Health and is an affiliate member of the POGP. She is passionate in treating pregnancy related pelvic girdle pain and other pregnancy related musculoskeletal conditions. Alexa has a wealth of experience dealing with pelvic floor dysfunction and continence issues. Alexa uses all her specialist skills to actively assess and treat these conditions through the use of biofeedback, manual techniques and Pilates based exercise programs. She offers expert strategies and advice for women to manage their conditions in labour and the early postnatal phase.

As an individual Alexa loves anything active and admits to being quite the fidget- yoga, running, skiing and even tries her hand at some DIY!
